Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Moto (“the service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

2. Account registration & user responsibility

To use Moto, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not use another person's account without permission.

3. Service-specific terms

Moto is an AI-powered meeting assistant that lets you record, upload, transcribe, and summarize meetings. By using the service, you agree that:

  • You will obtain consent from all meeting participants before recording or uploading audio.
  • You are responsible for the content you upload, including compliance with confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • AI-generated minutes, summaries, and transcripts are produced automatically and may contain errors. You should review outputs before relying on them.
  • Meeting content and generated reports are associated with the client company or organization you select.
  • You may not use Moto to process illegal, infringing, or confidential content you are not authorized to handle.

4. Payments & refunds

Prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Plans and top-ups are paid via Touch ‘n Go eWallet / DuitNow QR or another payment method shown at checkout.

  • Subscriptions are billed according to the selected plan and renew automatically unless stated otherwise.
  • Top-up quota points do not expire and are added to your account balance.
  • One quota point is consumed per minute of audio processed (rounded up).
  • Refund policy: No refund once quota points/credits have been used or after the service has been rendered. Unused top-up purchases may be refunded within 7 days of request, subject to review.

Payment verification is handled by manual receipt review. We may ask you to re-upload a receipt if it is unclear.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes.
  • Upload audio or content without proper consent from participants.
  • Abuse, harass, or attempt to disrupt the service or other users.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or tamper with the app's systems.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Intellectual property

The Moto app, brand, code, designs, and systems are owned by Meraung Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your uploaded audio, transcripts, and generated minutes, and you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display them solely to provide the service.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Meraung Studio does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be completely accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms or if required to protect the service or other users. You may also delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
